About Project 6:3
Project 6:3 – Cookie Dough for a Cause
“But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret.” — Matthew 6:3
Giving without the expectation of recognition or reward is at the heart of Project 6:3.
Each year, the Project 6:3 Christmas Fundraiser brings our soccer community together to provide a “Christmas to Remember” for families in need throughout Cache Valley.
Through our annual cookie dough fundraiser, players presell cookie dough, then come together at a local bakery to make, package, and prepare it for delivery to customers. In most years, our players produce and sell more than 1,500 pounds of cookie dough!
100% of the proceeds go directly toward helping local families in need.
But the experience goes far beyond fundraising. Our players and participants take an active role in shopping for gifts and essential items, thoughtfully fulfilling each family’s needs and wishes. The gifts are then delivered anonymously, embracing the true spirit of giving without expecting anything in return.
Over the past 12+ years, Project 6:3 has raised and donated more than $200,000 to support families throughout Cache Valley!
Each Christmas, we help provide a memorable holiday for 4–8 families, and often many more.
Project 6:3 is about more than gifts under a Christmas tree. It’s about teaching young people the power of generosity, compassion, and service while making a meaningful difference in the lives of families right here in our community.
It’s not about who gives. It’s about the difference giving makes.
The History of Project 6:3
Project 6:3 – Cookie Dough for a Cause
Making a Difference, One Family at a Time
At Northern Utah United, we believe our impact should extend far beyond the soccer field. Project 6:3 – Cookie Dough for a Cause is a community-driven initiative dedicated to helping local families facing difficult circumstances.
Through the simple act of giving, we bring together players, parents, coaches, and community members to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around us.
Whether it’s providing financial assistance, offering encouragement, or reminding a family that they are not alone, Project 6:3 is about turning compassion into action.
Because being part of a team means looking out for one another—on and off the field.
